Boondoggle Media (Formerly Boongogle Films) was founded in 2004 by Lerone D. Wilson a (then) recent graduate of New York University with a dual degree in Film & Television and Economics. He later received an M.S. in Journalism from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, where he was awarded the Joseph Pulitzer III Fellowship. His academic success coupled with his renown street smarts were largely credited for increasing the boondoggliness of Boondoggle by approximately 24% in 2010.
