Thank you for visiting www.WelcomeToWhitestone.nyc. Since 2010, this website has served as the official site for the town of Whitestone. Through this website, you will be able to find out about upcoming events, promotions and specials taking place in the Whitestone community.
The Welcome To Whitestone Commercial and Residential Civic Association (WTWCRCA) was formed in 2011 by Devon O’Connor to be the voice for this great town. By forming working relationships with other local associations, political leaders and city organizations, we will strive to address issues and concerns affecting our local residents and businesses alike.
WTWCRCA hosts community meetings throughout the year which are open to the public. These meetings serve as an opportunity to both hear, and to be heard about important issues facing the community. In attendance are local elected officials and invited guest speakers. In addition to these community meetings, we will also continue to produce and promote family fundraising events as well as community service events. To date, we have hosted fundraising events for the Whitestone Volunteer Ambulance and St. Mary’s Hospital for Children. Our community service events include blood drives for the New York Blood Center, vin-etching for your vehicles with the 109th Police Precinct, a tree give-away with the New York Restoration Project and several graffiti clean-ups with our teenage volunteer group, Volunteenz.
Our Association is 100% dependent on volunteers. Your assistance will always be appreciated, and the first way to show your support is to become a member. New members will receive a “Whitestone Discount Card” which will be good at many local Whitestone businesses. Tell your friends, tell your neighbors, The Welcome To Whitestone Commercial and Residential Civic Association is here for you!
